Art and Photography Workshops
for Empowerment and Social Change
About Click for a Change
Click for a Change is led by Chana Brazg, an entrepreneur and photographer with a degree in special education, and Lilach Bar-Tzion, a photographer, phototherapist, photography instructor and workshop facilitator.
The two met through the Women’s Courtyard in Yaffo, a multi-cultural space for women and girls at-risk. Lilach was facilitating a phototherapy workshop for girls when Chana, a volunteer, approached the Women’s Courtyard with the idea of organizing a photography project. Seeing the central role that the kitchen played at the Courtyard, the two women decided to develop “Cook-Click-Eat”, a weekly workshop that ran for 8 months during 2013.
The positive experience that the workshop offered participants and its ability to make a tangible impact in changing lives inspired Chana and Lilach to expand the project and establish Click for a Change.
Click for a Change runs workshops designed to promote empowerment through group activity and to teach the principles of phototherapy. The subject of each workshop is tailored to the personality and needs of each group.
