Art and Photography Workshops
for Empowerment and Social Change
“The camera is a tool that teaches people
how to see without a camera” Dorothea Lange
Click for a Change is a unique initiative, established to provide a creative framework that supports and makes a difference in the lives of women, men and children from underprivileged communities.
The project, founded and guided by Chana Brazg and Lilach Bar-Tzion, combines photography with a variety of group activities in interactive workshops. The principles of phototherapy and the power of photography are used as therapeutic tools. The workshops offer creative experiences within a compassionate and empathetic environment to help women in need, drug addicts, people with special needs, youth at risk and more.
How Does Click for a Change Help?
The focus of the workshops is creativity in cooking. In the near future, new workshops will be added focusing on make-up, fashion and art. The workshops expose participants to diverse content and to both individual and group challenges. They are tailored to the needs and interests of each group.
Photography accompanies the entire process; it serves as a form of non-verbal communication which helps the participants to see, to look, to explore within themselves, to break down barriers, to improve their sense of control over their own lives, to actualize and to strengthen.
